Recent Health Struggles and Bus Accident
Earlier this year, Giuffre shared a troubling update on Instagram. She revealed she had been hit by a school bus on April 1st.
In her post, she wrote:
“This year started terribly. When a bus comes at you at 110 km/h, no car can save you.
I’m in kidney failure, with doctors giving me only days to live. I want to see my children again, but I know wishes don’t always come true. Thank you all for being part of my life. God bless you all.”
Conflicting Reports About the Crash
However, the New York Post reported the collision was minor. A mother of one student on the bus said, “I don’t know the full truth, but her injuries weren’t from the bus accident.”
Giuffre’s History with Epstein and Maxwell
Giuffre’s nightmare began between 1999 and 2002. Epstein and Maxwell lured her in Florida under the promise of a better life, only to traffic her to powerful men.
She named high-profile figures, including Prince Andrew and French modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, as abusers.

Legal Battles and High-Profile Accusations
In 2021, Giuffre filed a lawsuit against Prince Andrew, resulting in a confidential settlement in 2022. Prince Andrew continues to deny the allegations.
Brunel faced charges of sexual assault and raping a minor. Giuffre testified against him in France in 2021. Brunel later died by suicide in 2022 while in pre-trial custody.
The Death of Jeffrey Epstein
Jeffrey Epstein also died by apparent suicide in August 2019. His death occurred at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York under suspicious circumstances.
Public Release of Giuffre’s Testimony
In January 2024, court documents related to Epstein’s defamation case were unsealed. They included testimonies from Epstein, Maxwell, Giuffre, and others.
Giuffre’s Warning About Her Safety
In December 2019, Giuffre posted on social media, stating:
“I am not suicidal in any way. I have told my therapist and doctor. If anything happens to me, please protect my family and seek justice. Many powerful people want me silenced.”
