One official added that they are now waiting for mediators to initiate the next round of negotiations.
The second phase will likely focus on exchanging Israeli hostages in Gaza for Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.
Additionally, Israeli forces are expected to withdraw from Gaza as part of the ongoing de-escalation efforts between both sides.
