A new blockchain-powered app, ICERAID.US, allows American citizens to report migrants without papers and criminal activity instantly. The app, built on a decentralized network, crowdsources intelligence gathering— a task typically handled by law enforcement.
According to its website, ICERAID rewards users with ICERAID tokens for uploading images of suspected criminal activity. The more reports a user submits, the more tokens they earn.

Blockchain Entrepreneur Behind ICERAID
ICERAID is the brainchild of Jason Meyers, a cryptocurrency and blockchain expert. He also founded Auditchain Labs AG, the company behind Pacioli.ai and several other blockchain applications.
Meyers believes blockchain can improve law enforcement efficiency by shifting intelligence gathering to private citizens. He is currently in discussions with officials from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other agencies.

Self-Reporting for Undocumented Immigrants
ICERAID offers a unique feature: self-reporting for undocumented immigrants. The app states that those without a criminal record can earn financial rewards by reporting themselves and seeking legal status.
However, ICERAID clarifies that it is not affiliated with the U.S. government and does not guarantee legal status. “Final immigration decisions rest with government authorities,” the platform states. “But America values honesty, and self-reporting may provide financial help.”

Crypto Rewards and AI-Powered Verification
Meyers plans to launch an ICERAID cryptocurrency token on the Solana blockchain. The token will be available on major exchanges in the coming weeks.
The app also uses artificial intelligence to verify and authenticate user-submitted reports. Once confirmed, the system forwards them to the appropriate authorities.
“This technology reduces the time and taxpayer resources spent tracking criminal people without papers,” Meyers said.
Citizen-Powered Crime Reporting
ICERAID represents a shift toward decentralized public safety solutions. Supporters see it as a way to increase civic participation. Critics may question the ethics of crowdsourced surveillance.
Regardless, technology is reshaping how law enforcement operates. Platforms like ICERAID show that citizen-driven reporting could play a bigger role in public safety.
