A Satanic organization is preparing to host a controversial “Black Mass” inside the Kansas State Capitol, defying efforts from lawmakers, including the governor, to prevent it.
The group, known as “Satanic Grotto,” has scheduled the ritual for March 28, 2025, at 11 a.m.—just days before Easter Sunday.

La organización Satanic Grotto, planea celebrar una misa negra en el Capitolio del Estado de Kansas durante el perÃodo previo a la Pascua, promoviendo la adoración a Satanás y aprovechando la oportunidad para blasfemar contra Cristo.

State Approves Gathering but Restricts Ritual Location
While officials granted permission for the assembly, they ruled that all Satanic activities must remain outside the Capitol building.
Despite this restriction, Satanic Grotto has made it clear they plan to proceed with the event indoors, challenging the state’s directive.

During the ceremony, participants plan to defile a consecrated Eucharistic host, a deeply sacred element in Catholic tradition.
Catholic organizations, including the Traditional Family Property Student Action (TFP), have condemned the event and are mobilizing protests in response.
Organizers Identified
Michael Stewart leads Satanic Grotto, while the event’s main organizer goes by the name “Jaee Frazee” and uses “he/they” pronouns.
On Frazee’s Facebook profile, they appear wearing makeup with upside-down crosses. The profile link suggests their real name may be Jocelyn Frazee.
