Trump Criticizes His Portrait in Federal Office
U.S. President Donald Trump has called for the removal of his “intentionally distorted” portrait from his federal office in Colorado. He expressed frustration on Truth Social, stating, “No one wants a bad picture or portrait of themselves, but the picture posted by the governor in Colorado is intentionally distorted to a degree that perhaps even I have never seen.”

Artist and Governor Face Trump’s Criticism
Trump criticized the artist, noting that the same person had painted a “beautiful” portrait of Barack Obama. He claimed his own portrait was “truly the worst” and suggested, “She must have lost her talent as she got older.”
Rather than display the current portrait, Trump stated he would prefer to have no portrait at all. He also mentioned that many Colorado residents had demanded its removal or replacement. Additionally, he took aim at Colorado Governor Jared Polis, calling him a “radical left-wing governor.”
Absolutely dying. both that Trump is so clearly bothered by this that he couldn't resist posting about, and at how objectively bad the portrait is pic.twitter.com/SHNwWeBXKy

Trump Addresses Governor Polis
In a direct message to Polis, Trump said, “I’m speaking on their behalf to radical left-wing Governor Jared Polis, who is extremely weak on the criminal side, especially regarding Tren de Aragua, which has practically taken over Aurora (don’t worry, we saved them!). Jared should be ashamed of himself.”
He referred to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA), which reportedly had a growing presence in Aurora, Colorado, last year.
Gang Activity in Aurora Raises Concern
Media reports highlighted a gang taking over an apartment building in Aurora. A viral video showed a group of armed men outside the building shortly before a shooting incident. The situation led Trump to visit the area during his campaign, warning the public about the gang’s increasing influence.
