The U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI have completed a detailed investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s death. The latest report, obtained by Axios, shuts down rumors of a hidden “client list” connected to Epstein’s criminal activities.
No Evidence of Client Records
Since Epstein’s death in 2019, many speculated he kept records of powerful individuals tied to his crimes. However, the federal report confirms there is no proof of such a list.
This finding contradicts years of conspiracy theories suggesting Epstein used his connections to blackmail wealthy elites.
Surveillance Video Supports Suicide Ruling
The investigation also reviewed upgraded security footage from the night Epstein died inside his Manhattan jail cell. The video shows no unauthorized access to Epstein’s housing unit during the critical timeframe.
FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino revealed that over 11 hours of surveillance footage were analyzed. The footage confirms the medical examiner’s ruling that Epstein took his own life.
Epstein Found Dead While Awaiting Trial
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead on August 10, 2019, at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York. He was awaiting trial on serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and exploitation of minors.
Over 300 Gigabytes of Data Recovered
The Department of Justice conducted an extensive investigation, searching digital devices, office spaces, storage areas, and secured locations. Their efforts recovered over 300 gigabytes of digital and physical evidence.
Among the files were images of Epstein, as well as photos and videos of minors or individuals appearing underage. Authorities also uncovered thousands of illegal child abuse materials.
Victim Protection Remains Priority
Due to the disturbing nature of the materials, trained federal agents, legal teams, and privacy experts handled the evidence. Officials confirmed that much of the sensitive content remains sealed by court order to protect victims.
According to the report, had Epstein faced trial, only a small portion of the evidence would have been made public.
No Evidence of Blackmail or Further Charges
The federal investigation found no credible proof that Epstein blackmailed influential individuals. There is also no evidence to justify charges against other parties.
This effectively closes the possibility of further prosecutions directly connected to Epstein’s crimes.
Over 1,000 Victims Identified
Officials confirmed that more than 1,000 individuals suffered harm due to Epstein’s actions. Many of these victims still face emotional and psychological trauma.
Protecting those affected remains the top priority for law enforcement agencies. Personal details, including names, descriptions, and private information, are being kept confidential.
Officials Warn Against False Theories
The DOJ and FBI emphasized that spreading unproven theories about Epstein’s case only harms victims and distracts from real efforts to combat child exploitation.
