The left radical woman who attacked Lindner is a local member of the far-left “Linke” party’s youth wing, DPA reports.
An unusual incident unfolded during the election campaign in Greifswald, where Christian Lindner (46), FDP leader and former finance minister, became the target of an attack. According to “T-Online,” a young woman threw a foam soap object resembling a cake at his face during his speech.
Lindner, however, maintained his composure and proceeded with his address. “I wear these battle scars with pride,” he told the audience, as reported by the Nordkurier newspaper.
