In the Thai capital Bangkok, around 200 schools were closed today due to air pollution, authorities asked people to work from home and restricted heavy vehicles in the city.
Bangkok is the sixth most polluted city in the world this morning, according to IQAir.
Levels of PM2.5 pollutants, cancer-causing microparticles small enough to enter the bloodstream through the lungs, reached 122 micrograms per cubic meter.
Earlier, Thai authorities allowed working from home to reduce pollution.
