Former U.S. President Donald Trump abruptly terminated a brief phone call with journalist Andrew Kaczynski after being questioned about newly resurfaced photos of the late Jeffrey Epstein attending Trump’s 1993 wedding to Marla Maples.
The pictures, featured in a segment from CNN’s KFile team, depict Epstein at the lavish ceremony held at the Plaza Hotel and later mingling with Trump and his children at a Harley-Davidson-themed venue the same year. Despite being labeled as exclusive footage during Erin Burnett’s evening broadcast, the images are reportedly accessible through common online sources, including stock photography platforms and Google searches.

CNN just released exclusive new video of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein hanging out at the 1999 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, as well as images of Epstein at Trump’s second wedding.

Kaczynski, the reporter behind the story, clarified that although the visuals have existed online, their significance lies in the lack of public attention and the fact that they predate Epstein’s legal notoriety. He noted that their inclusion in the investigation aimed to contextualize Epstein’s social associations before criminal allegations emerged.
Prior to the story’s release, Kaczynski attempted to reach out to Trump for comment. “The call lasted barely half a minute,” Kaczynski recalled. “When I brought up the wedding photo, he hesitated for a moment, said ‘you’ve got to be kidding me,’ accused CNN of being fake news, and then ended the call.”
Following the story, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung issued a response dismissing the report. “These clips and snapshots are being taken out of context from public events attended by numerous guests. Twisting them to suggest wrongdoing is both dishonest and vile,” Cheung stated.
He further emphasized that Trump had distanced himself from Epstein long before any legal scandals surfaced. “President Trump removed him from his property years ago due to inappropriate behavior. This is just more recycled propaganda from partisan media outlets.”
Meanwhile, conservative commentator Eric Daugherty criticized CNN’s coverage, sarcastically referring to it as yet another exaggerated exposé lacking substance.
