On January 26, KCBS 7:40 AM host Bret Burkhart revealed detailed information about unmarked ICE vehicles and the specific locations where agents were conducting enforcement actions.
According to News Busters, the information was sourced from social media posts by the Rapid Response Network, a group that actively opposes deportation efforts and closely monitors ICE activities in the area.
News Nation confirmed on January 27 that ICE was actively conducting operations in the area at the time of the broadcast.
During his broadcast, Burkhart shared inside information about the ongoing ICE operation on the east side of San Jose, which had been confirmed by Mayor Matt Mahan and Council Member Peter Ortiz.
