On Wednesday night in Hollywood a massive and fast moving fire broke out threathning to burn everything that gets on the way. This is one of the most terrifying battles that firefighters fought in their lives in U.S.A.
The Wildfires around Los Angeles officially killed five people, destroyed around hundreds buildings and displaced thousands.
The streets surrounding Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Madame Tussauds were congested with slow-moving traffic, punctuated by blaring sirens and the roar of low-flying helicopters heading to release water onto the blaze. Hotel guests, carrying suitcases, evacuated on foot, while curious onlookers moved closer to the flames, capturing footage of the fire on their phones.

Winds calmed slightly on Wednesday, following a day of hurricane-force gusts that scattered embers, setting block after block ablaze. While hundreds of firefighters from neighboring states have arrived to assist, the four uncontrolled fires continue to pose a significant threat.
Over half a dozen schools in the region sustained damage or were completely destroyed, including Palisades Charter High School, known for its appearances in Hollywood productions like the 1976 horror classic Carrie and the TV series Teen Wolf. Officials also announced that UCLA has canceled classes for the remainder of the week.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass stated that aerial operations were actively battling the flames. However, she cautioned that “erratic winds” remained a challenge, albeit less severe than Tuesday evening, when aircraft were grounded, and much of the devastation took place.
If you’re near the wildfires please do not wait fire to spread any further and immediately evacuate!
