James O’Keefe has released new undercover footage that includes serious allegations about music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to claims made by a former senior music industry executive.
The video was published by O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) and features remarks from Motti Shulman, who previously served as a senior vice president of rhythm promotion at Atlantic Records.
Shulman also held executive roles at Def Jam Records during his career.
Allegations of Industry Influence
In the hidden-camera recording, Shulman speaks with an undercover OMG journalist and makes allegations about Combs’ alleged influence within the music industry.
According to Shulman, Combs’ power extended beyond traditional executive decision-making. He claimed the music executive could influence whether artists secured record deals or were effectively excluded from industry opportunities altogether.
“[Combs] had more to do than just whether you got a record deal or not,” Shulman said in the footage. “He could blacklist you.”
Claims About Private Gatherings
Shulman also alleged that Combs’ private parties played a role in maintaining that influence. While he described them as outwardly appearing to be entertainment-focused events, he claimed they allegedly served another purpose.
According to Shulman, attendees may have been recorded in compromising situations, which he suggested could later be used as leverage.
“After you went to one of his parties, it seemed fun,” Shulman said. “There were girls and drugs, but now he’s got you on video doing things you wouldn’t want public.”
These claims have not been independently verified, and Combs has not responded publicly to the specific allegations made in the footage.
Personal Characterization
During the recorded conversation, Shulman also used harsh language to describe Combs personally, referring to him as a “bad guy” and expressing strong negative opinions about his conduct.
Ongoing Legal Context
The allegations surface amid Combs’ broader legal troubles. In October, he was sentenced to 50 months in federal prison after being convicted on two counts related to transportation for prostitution.
Prosecutors had requested a sentence exceeding 11 years. However, the presiding judge ruled that such a sentence would not be reasonable under the circumstances and imposed a significantly shorter term.
Separate OMG Investigation
Separately, O’Keefe Media Group drew attention last week after releasing undercover footage involving a Georgetown University adjunct professor.
The professor, Jonathan Franklin, who was scheduled to begin teaching in January 2026, was recorded using racially charged language when discussing public figures, including Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and political commentator Candace Owens.
In the footage, Franklin also made derogatory remarks about colleagues and others while speaking with an undercover operative.
