Nick Reiner was seen walking near his family’s Brentwood residence just hours before his parents were found dead, according to newly reviewed surveillance footage obtained by investigators.
The 32-year-old was captured on camera late Saturday night near a gas station located only a few blocks from the family home. He appeared calm as he walked through the area, wearing jeans, a long-sleeve shirt, a baseball cap, and carrying a backpack.

Authorities later confirmed that filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner, were discovered deceased early Sunday. Investigators say the footage places Nick Reiner close to the residence during the hours leading up to their deaths.
